Leading by Zhang Pengcheng, associate professor of Civil Engineering Department, and Liu Jianmin, secretary of the Youth League Committee, “Guxiajinshi” practice team of School of Architecture and Civil Engineering came to Shanxi Province and Hebei Province to make investigation and survey, from July 26 to July 30. Their main plan was “Structure Analysis and Calculation Fieldwork of China Traditional Buildings”. Wood Tower in Yingxian County, Foguang Temple in Shanxi Province, Longxing Temple, Kaiyuan Temple and Tianning Temple in Hebei Province were their main investigation targets. The team menbers include 11 undergraduates and postgraduates of the Architecture Department and the Civil Engineering Department.
